Could you please help me with another question? When tunning how do you cut the carbon arrow?
Thank You
Jim

Jim-
I've been using the corner edges of the wheels on my bench grinder.  I spin the arrow as I cut.  Sometimes the cut come out a little uneven.  When it does, I simply touch it lightly against the side of the grinding wheel after the power has been cut to the grinder.

I use a grease pencil to mark my cut line.

I try not to breathe the dust created from cutting carbon. May not be a problem, but you can`t be too careful.

I have been considering using a cutting blade similar to that of a arrow saw on my 10" miter saw.  Anybody foresee any problems with that setup?  Mark

I took one of the wheel off of my bench grinder and put on a blade for a 4" angle grinder, works great for me.

I recently picked up an 8k rpm Weston arrow saw from bowhuntersuperstore for $79.00.
It's accurate, easy and fast and you can do roll cuts. It also comes with 2 arrow spinners/rollers and 3 blades. For me it was well worth the money.

Bought on of these from Harbor Freight and have cut many dozen arrow with it. They put it on sale for $20 every now and then.
