Oh man, Oh man, Oh man. This is heating up nicely. Some real crowd favorites fast out of the gate and already getting ready to ship.

I have to get my act together. I had a few littel projects started prior to the swap staring, hoping one would be suitable for my recipient, but I dont think I'm going to get lucky. I think its going to require me to regroup here and come up with a new plan.

Ok, the bad news is, I haven't been to my shop in weeks... Dealing with failing health of parents and parent in laws.  The good news is, after a trip. To Chicago to visit said in laws, I got to stop by the Owl hardwoods store there and pick up some wood.  Zebrawood, Purpleheart, Jatoba, and bloodwood.

I also found this bloodwood board that I'm going to try building a board bow out of...

So next week I'm going to get started on my trade bow for XXxXxXx... Hickory with a Zebrawood riser and power lam.  Maybe with deer antler tips?  Plan B will be the bloodwood.

Some great looking stuff on here!  Good work everybody!

Hopefully today coats of sealent will be the last. If so all I'd need would be some warm weather so I can spray on the final finish. After that, it off to the post office.

I was considering starting over on my BBI swap bow because of some glue line issues.
Yesterday was, shooting some more arrows through it, up to maybe 70 shots now.
When inspecting it there is,a hint,of a Crysal . Not positive but enough to get me to,decide to,start over.

Soy, that snake looks awesome. Just don't let it lie on the grass, because someone might shoot at it, thinking it's a real one...

After putting 60/70 arrows thru my trade bow it seems to have changed the tiller a bit....  It shoots real well and is at the target specs. I don't know if I should skin, finish and send it like this or move on to plan "B"????

What do you think ???

I really want my victim to be happy with the bow.........

Still holds about 1" of reflex after shooting and comes back to 1 1/2 after resting a bit

Today I started my trade bow. This is my first R/D design bow. Thanks to Roy for the phone call with some helpful pointers when I was in a bind. I can't say enough good this about this guy. He may be a pain in the #*$ sometimes but what a great mentor.

THANKS OL' FART!!!

Pictures of flipped tips and glue up....

Coaster,  If it shoots real well and looks that close to tiller you can send it to me.  I like it.
