One of the rules is that you keep us updated.

If you haven't posted in a while you need to.

May have been me???  I've been virtually silent this year regarding posting.  I broke my foot pretty bad a few months ago, and can finally get around on it now.  I've been in touch with KellyG to keep the moderators in the loop.  I will complete the bow, and complete it on time barring a late break.  There is no doubt I should have posted more, but it's just been one of those years.  With injuries to me and my family, I've just had bigger worries.  Not trying to make an excuse, just tellin' y'all the truth.  I am a man of word though.

Anyway, my bow is officially coming along now, it is a hickory backed ipe, reflex deflex design.  Each bow I make gets a little better, I have high hopes for this one.  I will start to post pics and stuff now that we are all better and I can concentrate on other things!  Trust me, I'm looking very, very forward moving on to making a bow.

I finally found some time to start my swap bow. I have glued it up and the limbs are roughly shaped.

Looks sweet Andy, and by the bows I've seen you make the recipient will be a very happy camper.

Sorry to hear about your injury, Monkey Wrench, glad you're doing better.

Andy, that looks good from way over here. Sporthunter is right, I'll love it! LOL!

My wife is working on my pics as I type. We'll post'em in a little while.

No problem Brad, everything will work out. Hope the best for you and your family.

Andy, that looks all messed up. I think you should just mail it to me and I'll fix her up and you can start another one:)

Okay, here are the pics I've been promising.

Well, my wife done me proud!

This bow shoots well. Fast, no vibration/hand shock, and quiet.

I certainly hope ***** likes it. He should see this skinny little thing by the end of next week if I can bring myself to mail it off!  :archer2:

Roy, my wife said, "Take that back!" LOL
Then she said it sounded like you and I could be twins.   :p

Roy from Pa

Stan, tell her to take that back on twins.

Wow.  I've been gone the past week on a family vacation and this is the first I've checked in since we left last week.  Lots of good work being done and there will be a lot of happy archers out there.  Well done everyone.

Yea I haven't posted yet i wanted to get it to short string first. I also found out a week after i joined the swap that my wife is pregnant with our first so its been kinda hectic but i just put it on the short string I got it pulled to 20 inches and decided it needed to bend more towards the handle. It looks off right now but i'm working on it.
