This time of year I would usually be working my 2nd job on a Saturday... But not this weekend. The area southwest of STL is just about shut off completely. By noonish today Interstate Hwy 44 with be covered by floodwater. A rare day off gives me time to play with my new BBO and post some pics. I want to thank "wingnut" for making such an awesome bow.

John, what's the model and spec's?  got a side shot of the handle?
Hope you're high and dry, we tried to go to Montauk for Spring Break, only got in one day of fishing and flooded in for a day....

John,

For some reason your second pic is not coming through.

BTW your welcome, I remember talking with you about this bow while we were headed out to go elk hunting and the cell coverage kept coming and going.  Must of taken 15 connections to complete the conversation.  LOL

How's it shoot?

I will take better pics this afternoon and get them posted.

This is a "hunter" model-- 62" 53#@26" Osage/Cocobolo backed with Tonkin Boo...
I've owned a few osage selfbow's. This is my first BBO and could not be more pleased with the bows performance and looks.

And the water rises on the east side also. The deer are heading for high ground.

That's a good drop of water! And a nice bow, too.

We went through the floods here last July.  The Neosho River was the highest it had been since 1951 and some areas still haven't recovered from it.

Good looking bow.

John, your pretty close to my neck of the woods I live in Pacific.
Our house wasn't in danger but we did move our shop out.
Real nice bow BTW.  Eric.

Thanks Eric. I shot a 4" group at 20 yards today with this bow. Finally picked the correct spine and arrow length. So I cannot blame anything but myself if my arrows don't go where they should.
Having never owned a BBO before all I can say is that I am very impressed with this bow. I am taking it to Alberta in May and hope to kill a bear with it.
I saw Adams the mayor on FOX News the other day. I hope Pacific gets the help the people need. I grew up on a farm in Robertsville and graduated from Pacific 22 years ago.. After college I moved with my job 4 times in 6 years and didn't get to move "home" for over ten years. Like they say there is no place like home.
