Squirrel Bait

I'll tell you RC, you'll enjoy that bow. They are made for the kinda hunting we do. Now I just got to get down there and see it first hand.
If you've never been in the woods at daylight, and seen the world come alive, you haven't " Lived".

That sound just like my Halbreed. You're going to love it.
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

vermonster13

Congrats. I'm sure it will be in some fine pork pictures soon after you get it.

SOS

RC, thought you were dropping weight....what gives?

RC

SOS ,I changed my shooting style back to the way I began years ago. I hit solid anchor but don`t hold as long.Shoot with a bent elbow and the shoulder feel very good.Kinda conducive to the Hill style bows I might add. A few years ago I bought the John Shulz video on shooting and started practicing it for those fast shots.Went hunting on Ocmulgee and killed a sow that spooked and was three steps into her run.I still would shoot the more "set" style on other shots. Now I shoot Hill or Shulz style and shoot as good as I ever have.RC

I was thinking I needed a Cheetah my daughter has one, I went out with my all yew and my custom tillered Half breed Hills and decided it would not be fair for them to compete with another bow. My daughter's bow is only 36 pounds but it kills deer and turkeys yours will be wonderful, stick with it and have fun.

TSP

Congrats, RC.  Hope you have good luck with your new Hill.  Just curious, what arrows do you plan to shoot?  Have always liked wood for my longbows, especially the Hills.  Nice and quiet.

RC

TSP, right now I`m shooting 2018`s out of a Wesley with 225 grain broadheads. I HOPE they`ll shoot out of the new bow as well.RC
