Since I've gotten into traditional archery, a couple of my buddies have been getting more and more interested in trad bows. In the last two weeks they both acquired some old bows and have asked that I help them get them set up. This one was found in a grandparent's attic and seems to be in great shape. It has no markings and I think it's 64". Anyone know who made it?
 
 
 

That's a pretty nice looking bow...and it looks like you've stumped us.   :confused:   I bet George Stout or the bowdoc will have an idea when they see the pics.

I had an old Swift that was kinda similar with the riser laminations but the tip overlays were different.  No idea really but I LIKE it!

Doesnt seem to have enough Dark Wood in it to be a Cravotta Bros. It Looks Real Nice! Beware of Raised Splinters and Small Stress Cracks. Just Simply from Age!!

Looks like it might be a home built.  Pretty sleek and stylish.

Not positive but I'd say it might be a Cliff Coe bow. The tips look like his style. Cliff Coe was from Otter Lake, Michigan. Cliff past away last fall I believe. He was in his mid 90's.

It does look like it might be a Cliff Coe bow. I only found one web site on the net that had some pictures of his bows. The pictures were pretty fuzzy, but the overall shape and curves of the bow look very similar to the Tourney model. It said that the Tourney model is 68" long, which this bow might be since I'm not exactly sure how to measure the AMO length. Anyone have any other suggestions or pictures of the Cliff Coe Tourney model? Would it be common for a Coe bow not to have any writing on it? Thanks for the input.

I was also thinking Cliff Coe. Have a book by him and some of the pictures look like that design. Great looking bow. Although not clear the picture seems to show some text or decal on the face of the lower limb. Yopu might find a copy of 44 YEARS BEHIND THE BOW by Cliff Coe

It may be one made by Superior Archery in Jackson Michigan in the 60's or early 70's. From what I remember it may be one of thiers.  I don't think they were around that long or made that many bows.

Anyone have any pics of bows made by Superior Archery? I couldn't find anything on the net.
