The thread has gone back quite a few pages back, so I decided to take all the names and put them in the hat (OK it was a box) and I had my wife pick one out.  That was the hardest part, I like to see all these kids get a bow, but here is the winner.

please count us in,
my boy shoots wheels but goes to trad night at the range and borrows bows. There are some big name bowyers there once he is addicted to the recurve, he will be saving to have one built for him, just need to get him hooked.

PM me with your address and I'll get it out to you.

Now remember, when he gets a new bow, he passes this one on the same way that he received it.

Thank you everyone for participating.

Thanks Carl
Sorry for the slow response, I have troubles getting trad gang to work at home because of the two computer thing.  I am not totally computer literate.

I sent a PM with the address
and your wishes to have it passed on will be granted.

My 12 year old Josiah will be the shooter and when I figure out the two computer registration thing I will post some picts. of him and the bow hopefully with small game.

thanks again.

And he could very well do that with this bow,

"it's not what you have, it's how you use what you have"

My wheels, laid in my closet for three or four months, before I sold them, now that's a second set a wheels that I got frustrated with because I just wanted to be good with a traditional bow.

Thats because I started out when I was 10 years old with a long bow, man if we could only get back to the

         "10-year-old attitude"

We were not concerned about arrow size, weight of the bow, or strength, we just picked up a bow at that age and flung an arrow, and if it hit the bull's-eye we were overjoyed.

        "ahhhh that childhood faith"

That's when we believed in our self, and not in how pretty the bow was, how strong it was, or who it came from, or who made it.

"Not that there's anything wrong with that"

But sometimes we get so hung up, that we can get off the hook, and shoot it for what it is;

A stick, a string, and an arrow to fling, you just tell him to concentrate on what's good, and not how bad he shoots, concentrate on the good ones, and more of them will come.

Just enjoy the bow, and of course what it's mostly all about, you enjoy your son, and help him enjoy you,  :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:
