This may be a dumb question and I think I know the answer but, can you add wood to a grip after a bow is completed? Meaning I have a T/D recurve and would like a little more palm and a little higher wrist in the grip-is this possible to do?

Careful with the palm swell. Too much can cause you to torque the bow on release.

some shooting supply dealers sell sheets of an adhesive rubber product that can be added to gunstocks to build them up....might check w/ Brownells or Midway....

Another option is to apply marine tex, or another putty type epoxy, mix it, put a glob where you want to build up, put on a rubber glove, and grip the bow as you would when you shoot,  Let it set up, sand off the sharp edges and put a roll up grip cover over the putty....

I`ve used a product called PL-7 and PL-11. Its a putty epoxy. You put it on in layers about 1/4" thick and let dry before the next layer goes on. It worked very well but is white to light grey. It was on a bowfishing rig so I did`nt care. When I sold the bow the man I sold it to did`nt want it on there. I could not break it off no matter how I tried. Ended up sanding it off.

If you want this removeable and plan on using a leather grip on it, you could use body putty or fiberglass putty from the automotive world, just use a release agent or plastic wrap, which is put over the existing grip, put on latex gloves, mixup and add the putty to your palm, grab the bow grip, smooth things out with your other hand and hold it til it sets, .. about 5 min...remove your hand, take off the now hardened chunk of putty, sand, taking care to feather the edges, spray both sides with a clear or any color sealer(paint)....apply it to your bow with a low temp hot glue, which makes it easily removeable, and cover with a leather grip.... easy.. simple and cheap! and it will fit both your hand and bow perfectly.

I use epoxy putty to build out mine sometimes.A rubber sleeve or leather wrap will take care of the looks part.
