I bought a new set of limbs for a bow for my wife and for the life of me I can't find the limb bolts to put the bow together.  I went to Home Depot and Lowes today, but no luck finding any bolts to match.

Luckily, I have more than one bow, so I took the bolts from my Habu and put in hers.  Any ideas where to get some limb bolts?

Any industrial fastener supply house will have the bolts you need...be sure to ask for grade 8 bolts

Thanks.  I know they are 1 1/4" long, but what size do I ask for?

I would take the Habu bolts with you for comparison, or if in doubt take the bow itself.

You can order limb bolts from Binghams bow building supply.

5/16 X 18 is the thread you want for limb bolts. They can be bought at an industrial supply or a bolt store. Just buy the hard ones Grade 8.

blackhawk, I have to ask:
Why would you need an especially hard bolt?
Is it too late to be what I could have been?
