Just joined the group here, thought I should introduce myself. I am new to the world of archery also. Teaching myself and slowly but surely getting better. I am looking forward to picking up some useful tips from more seasoned archers. I have a compound bow that I found about a year ago, but decided I would like to try more traditional. I just paid off a nice recurve. I am looking forward to getting lots of practice with it. Anyhow, I have a tendency to ramble on aimlessly, so I will try to contain myself. I am pleased to meet you all. Talk to you later

Killdeer

Good to have you here. You will learn more quickly than the old-timers, because of the plethora of information readily available on the internet. Take it on forward, add some wood to the pile and welcome to the fire.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
