I understand that Lucky's makes a very good blind. Any thoughts? Or do I just go with the Dark Horse recurve model (coming soon?) and don't look back?

I just so happen to own both of them....the Lucky's was my first portable blind(chamomeleon camo),it's the first blind they ever built tall enough for a traditional shooter(proto type)it works very good,a little awkward to carry around but I killed some critters out of it & still have it & use it some when the need arises but my double bulls are my go to blinds & see alot more woods time than my Luck's blind....wishes ya lived a little closer I'd let ya try em both out & see which one you liked better....don't get em wrong Lucky's make's a darn good blind but the DB works a little better for me....

I have the Lucky's Texas Special, great blind for those extended or all day sits. Echo what bluegrassbowhunter said about portability. Kind of a pain, but can be done. I've used it many times for turkeys. Really great for a longbow shooter!

Never tried a Lucky, but the DB's are some mighty sweet blinds and the new Dark Horse looks like it takes the cake. Shawn

I like it because it looks like a safari suit, the camel pattern on that is, I will give it a try this summer.  I'm going to test it on some deer, I will hide the roofline, but hungrily decides on branched, and see some reactions.  It should be a fun time.

Of course it will be an unfair, there's a feeder about 10 yd. away.  About a chance see if they pick a different route.

I would go with the Lucky's Blind.I also have one of the Texas Special models.They are built very well and worth every penny.Pm me if you have any questions,I'll be glad to help you out.

The first blind I ever had was a Lucky Blind. It was fine until a big wind came along.

I use Northwoods blinds now, very quick and easy set up and take down, easy carry, and it's American made.

Go with the dark horse. I have the Luckys and its well made but a pain to carry around.
