I think its Tom Moran. Also I don't know if Craig is still making bows for a biz. You might have to twist his arm... Peace!

Hatrick

Tim, that's a mighty fine looking list of Bowyers there. Michigan is blessed with some of the best. I've owned bows from 4 of those gentlemen and still have 2 Northern Mists and a brand new great shooting Firefly.
The scent of Autumn is like food to the hunters soul.

Great idea, good list and fine resource!!  Wells
And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.  GEN-21:20

heydeerman

I have shot 7 of the bows on that list. I own a Fire Fly.

Ya know...Michigan and Ohio have been mortal enemies  (at least folks who are born here think so, I'm from PA.) and Ohio has an impressive list of bowyers as well.

DBGJR

Jeff, Stillwater is still building bows and he
said that he will be set up in Grayling at the
MTB Jamboree this June.
DICK

AnointedArcher

Dick that is great, The first real custom bow I had was a Stillwater takedown. I was the smoothest shooting bow, then a couple years later at the MTB Jamboree I bought my second bow from him and it was the 50's style recurve. Glad to hear he is back!      :clapper:

Well Tim got another one off his list...  :archer:
Just a Coyote Soul out wandering...

Archer 1

I'm lucky, to have 3 Stillwater longbows, two customs, and one I got in a trade. All three are great bows, and the workmanship, is second to none. Gene is a great guy.
I always wanted to get one of the 50's style recurves he made, but I never did, yet!
May Your Feet Always Make Happy Tracks.

WidowEater

I have had the pleasure of visiting a few of these bowyers in MI but I dont even own one of their bows yet.  Mortal sin? Yes I know.  Maybe tomorrow I pick one up

Oregon and Montana could produce impressive lists as well I think...
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

Dave Worden

Here are a couple fairly new ones.
Blue Heron Longbow Co.  -  Mike Pyeatt
Zero Let Off  -  Dan Hugelier
They're from White Lake and Fenton, MI respectively.

THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.

Cool beans Tim! You know when you get all the Michigan made bows you can have a booth right next to Lonnie Collins at the Kazoo Trad show because that would be worth seeing!
