Hi everyone I just was given a old 60# Stemmler Longbow. It looks to be osage wood. I fixed the grip with some "Tite-bond III" and now need to put on a new leather grip and arrow shelf. I need to determine were to put the arrow shelf, the bow is 71.5 inches long from tip to tip. I also cleaned the limbs with some 0000 steel wool and put some tung oil on to keep out the moisture. Had a new string made today and all is well so far.
