Do any of you hunt with carbon arrows? Is breakage and fragmentation a problem? What arrow weight do you use?

do a search on PowWow for carbon arrows, you will find more than enough info to justify your question.

I shoot carbon arrows and love them, and dont worry about them breaking.

All I shoot now are carbon shafts for hunting and 3D.
I shoot various shafts Easton Axis 340's to 500's depending on what bow I shoot.
IMO carbon shafts are straight or their broken.
As far as durability goes I find them to be strong provided you spend the money on good quality shafts.
Anything will break if hit hard enough but I have had nothing but excellent results.
I believe its worth the investment.

Thanks. I do like not having to worry about straightness and moisture.

Yes, no, and 500 grains or a little lighter.

Same as Jason. I add weight tubes to my hunting arrows making them 500gr. I use the same Goldtip 3555's for 3d's just w/o the tubes.
