Well it is coming together.

Got several guys who have committed and some others who are working on it.  If they all show, there will be a good bunch of traditional archers from Fl, Ga, PA, Tx, Ark, Conn, Mo, Ks, and maybe even Ala.

Ben, keep in touch!  I definitely want to go out there in May to scout it out for this get together!  Need to take your advice and contact the local wildlife manager too.

Looks like it will be the weekend of June 7th and 8th.  Though we may actually get there Wednesday, then hunt Thurs thru Sat and pack it in on Sunday.

Commitment is like bacon & eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed....

Sounds like you'll have a good time and I'll be pulling for Garrett as always.

If we can get Verm healthy, we might even get another yankee to come from Vermont

I bowfished a lot in the past. If you can catch the spawn you get a lot of fish working in one spot. Shot my biggest buffalo when they were spawning. I have shot fish into the middle of August but they get far and few between. The best time to bowfish is when you can go.

The best lake I ever bowfished was Truman. A lot of water and a lot of fish and you have the place to yourself. Trouble with lakes close to the city is conflict of interest. They allow bowfishing but it takes a backseat to all the other activities and it gets crowded. Make sure and check the rules and regulations for each lake.
