I just got this Harvest master to try out . The first thing I thought was holly cow this thing is beautiful. The craftmanship is second to none , I looked it over very carefully and could not find a single flaw in it . I know the pics don't do this bow justice but I'll post them anyway.

The grip is very comfortable and easy to repeat with a nice shape that just fits the hand well. I put the first arrow out of it right in the kill zone and was able to keep nice groups at 15 yds with out trying hard. The bow is smooth to draw with some early weight but no shock . I have a long draw and could get it back to 29 1/2 - 30 " and not be bothered by finger pinch . I have to say this is one that ranks right at the top with some of the best on the market (imho). I looked around the net for them and see that Tolegate Archery is a dealer for them and you can see better pics there.

I would say for anyone looking for a top notch bow at a great price , give these bows a look :0)  Thanks for looking   Drew

Sipsey RIver and Git-R-Done(sponsors) carry them also. I visited Roman's shop while I was in Ohio last fall and he is a very decent fellow. Brought one of his Woodland Spirit's to the Bunny hunt.

I've never shot the harvest master, but have shot a couple of the woodland spirits... Like Drew said, the workmanship was flawless, the first one I shot was no barn burner in the speed department, but the one that David brought to the bunny hunt seemed very quick to me...I think David said he had recently changed tapers in the lams...when it comes to bowyers... these are definetly sleepers, a good solid bow at a good price

i shot his 3 piece at ATAR.great bow,great guy.

That is a great bow.  I shot one a month ago in Kalamazoo.  I was really impressed with the bow and the craftsmanship!!

Dennis (Git-r-donearchery.com) just got one a few days ago in stock and he has a 3 piece Woodland Spirit coming in the next few days as well.  I can't wait to try one.  I haven't got to handle one yet, but Dennis is VERY impressed!  He says the fit and finish it TOP NOTCH as well.  Now if Dennis would just get drive 3 hours north so I could shoot one.  LOL!!!!

Pretty Bow!

Brian, I shot Dennis's Gray Actionwood WS a week ago Saturday. Roman was just doing finishing touches on the limbs when I was there. He put her together for me and all I can say is don't try to shoot 3 arrows at the same spot, you will ruin them. Even with just a shop string she was smooth and quiet.

I'm a friend of Roman's and help him get to shoots and Expo's, I also put in my 2 cents when he asks. I kind of egged him along to make this R/D design, so sometimes I feel hesitant in talking-up his bows cause I don't want folks to feel like I'm just blowing wind, but these bows are the real deal. He works hard and uses limited power tools in making these bows as he is Amish. He has to fire up a gas powered generator just to have a little electric power, and he uses a large compressor to run the major power tools. He also builds bedroom furniture as his main income. He really wanted to become a sponsor of Trad Gang, but his religion comes first in his life, and they don't allow their members to have websites. He now has 3 sponsors of TG carrying his bows, so he has exposure. Honesty and integrity and true Amish craftsmanship go into every bow he crafts. I am proud to call him friend and will soon have for my very own a take down custom bow that I have traded for as well as helped to make. He donated a bow to the PBS banquet in Pittsburg and we will be there Friday and Saturday.

Sorry to get so long winded, but I felt compelled to get a few things said.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

We as archer's must keep it alive by helping others into the sport WE LOVE.

Cherokee Scout

You are correct, these are very nice bows. His new 3 piece takedown has received a lot of very positive comments when we have taken it to the events. His workmanship is excellent.

The Woodland Spirit will have recurve limbs available for it by summer I believe also.

Dave, mine will be the first step in that direction. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted, recurve or LB. We talked awhile about it and he decided he would give it a shot. Mine has 2 degrees difference in the limb pads than his standard WS. He also had to play with the taper in the lams and make a slight change in the r/d design. Alot of work to accomodate us picky folks.
Sounds like I may be able to see some progress this weekend!

Hey Cody! I will tell him. How you been?
