I need to know what the reccommended brace height is for a 60 takedown silvertip thanks!!!

Shawn Leonard

Right around 7.5"s is the palce to start, you have to fine tune from there. My one-piece likes a tad high brace and that is 8"s. Shawn

I find 7 3/4 to 8 inches for my 60" TD Schafer in fact I use it for all my Schafers.  It seems to work for me 27" draw.

I use 7.75 for off the shelf and 8" off an elevated rest.

Do you measure the brace from the back of the bow or from the neck of the grip. I have heard guys measure from both, I just assumed from the back of the grip.
The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right!!!

LEOPARD

I shoot mine off the shelf, and it's a 62". I have the brace just a touch under 8", that's where she's happiest!  ;)    You measure the brace from the back of the grip.

I measure mine from deepest part of grip and it really likes the brace just a touch under 8".
Bowhunting......A way of life and death.

All mine are 60" and set at 7 3/4 from the deepest part of the grip.
