I bare- shafted my arrows and have the set-up tuned best that I can. My BH and FP have thre same POI to 30yrd and it's very accurate.
Question is---why would my field points have a little wobble sometimes, when my BH always flies perfect?I know, I know. You need more info. I can't give that out becuase it will put demons to work in my head that will tell I don't have it tuned to the correct arrow.
I'm just looking for an "off the top of your head" opinion.
I can give ya'll this---aluminum with 125gr point flight is perfect with BH---145gr point same wobble with FP and BH, but FP is worse.
How can a BH shoot perfect and a FPnot?   :saywhat:
Any thoughts? Thanks

If it's a lazy wobble you might be border line a little stiff with the field points. The broadheads might be flying better because maybe they are longer than the field point and making the shaft act a little weaker. You wanted off the top of my head??????? That's my first thought. Gapmaster

Here's a shot in the dark.... The broadhead makes the arrow longer and weaker spined. Good paradox and clears bow well. Field point is shorter making arrow stiffer. Takes longer to straighten out in flight.

Sometimes we follow through better when shootin broadheads..... Whatever.     Are your feather and nock colors the same on both arrows?

I'm with you guys on this. I got some arrows that a 160 FP is a tad stiff, but a 160 Grizzly flys Purty! A longer BH will weaken the shaft ever so slightly.

I have the same wobble with field tips.

The Whittler

I think because the BH is wider and makes the arrow fly better.
