Do most of you guys like bow quivers. I use a Small fry on my Dwyer. I ahve always liked the little extra weight and convience. I know most hill style shooters usually don't. Any thoughts? BILL

Like you Bullfrog,I always use bowquivers. They do add a little weight for stability, and there's nothing handier for carrying arrows or getting a second one on the string.

BobW

Never tried one on a Trad bow, just couldn't insult the lines of my bow.....(though I did get a bow quiver from Ron with my new Shrew - not sure I will use it - but couldn't help myself).

One "problem" I have with bow quivers is noise.  With 33"+ arrows, they tend to vibrate and make one heck of a bit of noise when I shoot.

Back or hip quiver just doesn't work for me if I am trying to crawl around in the sage or tundra.  They hang up.

Love my longbow quivers. Love the added weight of bow quivers . My bow hand tends to float with out the extra weight. My recurves are heavy enough with out one tho I will add a light 3 or 4 arrow holder.

I never liked bow quivers that is until I tried a boa small fry 4 arrow . It is the greatest quiver ever invented :0) Drew

I don't care for a quiver to be on a bow...

Never met a bowquiver I liked yet.  Funny how many models come with a "quick detach" feature.  I've always figured that nothing was quicker that not putting it there to start with.  I shoot 32" arrows as well.
Shoot strait and have fun!

I really don't know of a better way to carry arrows in the field. Also you can doll them up a bit, I always put a pin of the first critter that my bow set up killed first, in this case the first critter killed was a turkey.

I hated all longbow quivers but last year the Eagle's Flight bow quiver made me a convert.

I like a bare bow, no quivers on my Hills, it's a back quiver for me.

I always use a quiver. I like the added weight and the natural cant it gives my bows.
Is it September yet?!

I hate anything hanging off my Longbow.  Back quivers for me, from Mikes Archery Leather  of course.

I don't have a hill, but I've used nothing but bow quivers on my longbows and recurves for 50 years, and never a problem. I love the artful nostalgia of back quivers, but I can't wear that and a backpack, which is a necessary. And I can't bend over and sneak through low limbs and brush with a back quiver. And I can't draw a second arrow without being noticed with a back quiver. To own his each ...

I always had Selways or Thunderhorns on my bows be it a recurve or longbow. Now I've been using the little Eagles Flight Quivers on my Longbows. I really like these. You hardly know they are on except when and if you need a quick second shot.
