This was a great thread, another good idea Steve!   :knothead:

This is me with my oldest son Jordan and his first deer, a bow kill to boot!  I just gave him a Browning Wasp recurve for his birthday and he loves it.

Too bad it's not a better face to put with the name!   :D    I was pretty whipped, he only put one hole in that deer and it was quite a track and drag job.

Your boy has that "I'm gonna be tall" look to him.      I bet they'd hit it off all right!

Tim - that's a good photo of you and Jordan.  Glad to hear that you were able to find a Wasp for him.

In the spirit of keeping this thread going...

Here's a pic of my son Jeron and I from a few years ago.  It was his first buck with a stickbow.

The cool looking one is me messing with a rabbit skull...

And this goofy guy is my son (he's the redhead with the toad on his shoulder, not the toad with the redhead on his butt)...

Me and my twelve yr old son, Donnie, with his first traditional deer. My nine year old son, Nick is peeking from the rear. Nick turns ten in a few days, at which time he will join the ranks of hunters everywhere, as ten yrs old is legal here in Michigan. Both are seasoned veterans of the hunt, and both can shoot, ride, and swim.  :)
