I'm pretty sure it was last year that Terry Green challenged all Trad Gangers to get together with other members at events and hunts as much as they could. I excepted the challenge, because I did I met some great people and lasting friendships. Did you except the challenge?

I don't remember the challenge. I dunno that I would take exception to it.
Dunno if I would accept it, either.  :p

I seek out TGers at shoots because we have been socking each others' arms in the forums, and they are generally of exceptional character. No challenge in that, just good common sense and a lot of fun!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Got in on the Solana Hunt in Jan... Met a lot of "Gangers" I've know for quite a while, but finally in person.  And of course got to see some old friends I've hunted with before.

Good times!

I met, scouted, hunted and hung out with a bunch of Trad Gangers from NJ, PA and NY. I've never had such good times shooting my bow and hunting than I did this season chasing deer around Sussex County NJ. I'm sure that the friendships made will last for a long time and I know that future hunts and good times will happen.

I seek out 'Gangers everywhere I shoot. I even sent e-mails to 600 of them inviting them to my Club's first ever trad shoot. Sometimes I meet a few, sometimes they seem scarce.  Gotta admit though, it is great to put faces with the names I see on here.

We sure did have a good time on those hunts Larry!

I've had Gangers come to my home for various reasons this past year. Hunted with a couple in Ohio and went to Shawn's Bunny Hunt this past weekend. Hope to do even more this year.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

I hunted or shared a camp with over 10 tradgangers and had a blast. Looking forward more this year.

I took up the 'challenge'.
I forced the issue and got the time off to hunt the Indiana October Hunt.
I got to meet some cool guys, swap stories and hunt some ground I'd never seen before.
I also shot 3D with another, in Illinois; last fall. Then, continued into this year in Arkansas; with yet another.
I also began searching out good low priced wool, and believe I made a friend through that...
Which brings me to this year...I've invited another 'newbie' to the October hunt. I am looking to join some Ga guys to hunt hogs or whatever...shoot some more 3D where I can find guys/gals around the country to shoot with...
I said it before but; Thanks Terry for issuing the 'challenge'!
