7 months from yesterday I will arrive in Idaho for my 2nd time around. That is all that's on my mind. Well maybe a little turkey thoughts since they are up soon enough.

Hey Jeff, I hear ya'. It's on my "soon to do" list.

As if I'm not already enough of a mess, I have to read other posts about elk hunting, I might not be able to make it until Sept.

You guys are killing me.  We are buried up to our you know whats in snow right now.  This has been an extremely longggggg winter!  Spring can't get here soon enough.

All you guys that are wanting to go... be careful. Once you go you can't stop. I think about it 24-7 and I've been going for many years. 17 to be exact.

I loose sleep at night thinking about it.  If I thought about my work as much as I do elk, I could retire because I'd be a multi millionare.

I'm dreaming of Turkey Hunting right now, since my 10yr old Daughter recently told me she wants to Bowhunt with a Bow(Longbow)just like Dad's.
Now that's a dream come true.
Later I will dream about Deer Hunting, with my Daughter.

I dream of it, just to go once!  Not sure if I'll ever have the money...but I live through all the pics on here and the stories of all the hunts.

I've about worn out the elk segment on Primal Dreams..and the chapters in Dave Petersen's books on his hunts.

You guys that can hunt them and see them regularly are blessed.
