Got a New O.L. Adcock today 62" 57@28 What Carbons are flying good out of these bows,I am shooting AD traditionals Cut at 29" with a 160 point and they are still spined to light,They shoot fine out of my other 3 Acs-Cx bows from A/H but this bow shoots a lot harder for some reason, not that I am complaining..I will take any advice,I would like to stay with a tappered carbon Thanks

Just lighten up the tip first. That's the cheapest way to get an idea how close you are. If your arrows are a little long you could cut some of that off too. Buy new arrows as a last resort.Gary

Congrads on your new toy.

I'd personally just keep tring differnt tip weights till ya found out which one was just right. Not a bad idea to have a set of tuning tips laying around anyway.I've got from 75 up to 250 myself and could stand to restock some of them(1 doz)

Good luck
Shoot straight and have FUN!!

I have shot two ACS bows one an OL bow the other a A&H and I have to agree the OL seemed to shoot harder and quicker, I would say the ADs should work jus go to 125 grain head, that may make ya light on gpp. though.  Experiment, tapered carbons are few and far in between. The GrizzlyStik may work in the alaskan. Shawn

I shoot Gold Tips out of my OL Adcock. Started with Vapors, but GT's shoot like darts!  Biff

I have a 64#@28 A&H ACS. I shoot with her the new carbon express 75-90 rebel hunter with 100gr brass inserts and 200gr field points...it gives a 715gr arrow which flys like a dart after bare shaft tuning..
