I wanted to make a self bow to hunt with in memory of my uncle who I just lost. However, I don't think I have the time it takes to do it or the skills yet.

I don't want anything fancy, just something simple.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to who could help me with this project?

Drew, there are quite a few here that make superb selfbows.  Keep an eye on the St Jude auction coming up, I'd be willing to bet there will be some listed to bid on, and its for a great cause.  Tim

Contact Gary Davis, he sells bow blanks that are reasonably priced and will give you advice on how to finish it. He's over by Chesaning I believe. He has an advertisement in The Bowyers Journal each issue. I can look up his number when I get home and post it.
