Go to a floral shop, and get some water based paint.  This is usually used in floral displays, and is flat in coloration.  It will wear off on the handle areas, and the rest can be cleaned off with sudsy  water and sponge.   Jim

Yep! Opinions, keep em comin!

So far I've got removable paint, (checkin on that now) and flat water based paint, good stuff.

I have another bow, very beautiful that will never get painted. This particular bow is beautiful in another way, efficiency and function.

It'll be even more beautiful once it's painted up and I can use it to stalk and ambush animals who never have any idea I'm there till they feel the sharp thing.

Keep the info comin please. John at Sipsey River, I'm still real interested in the camo dippin sir.

Kingstaken.....The ones I've done have been older, beater bows.  The finish was worn or the riser had some good dings and such in it.  I wouldn't do it to a new, $1000 custom, unless the wood combo turned out just plane fugly looking.

i have painted mine in the past with black board paint and green and brown and it works awesome and does not flake off.

I'm painting one now. Have a PSE X Factor 23'' metal riser painted with rust-oleum primer than going to cover with bed liner spray in black. The riser is brush aluminum. The limbs are Samick silver target limbs painting them with krylon.....stabow

Remember, some people,I wont mention any names, have nearly lost their bows and they wer`nt even camoed. These things look a lot like sticks already so if you camo watch where you put it down.
