Has anyone experimented with the gold tip weight system.  Looks to me that you could almost pick the broadhead you want to shoot, start adding weight to front and the back if needed, and tune your bow and arrow set up pretty easy (yeah right).  I would like to hear some feedback on how or if anyone has had luck with this.
thanks

It was very easy.  You can pretty much pick which head you wanna shoot.  I actually have diffrent size heads on arrows that weigh the same.  All shoot great.  I did notice when I get in the 600gr area my arrows started drifting to the right.  Buy the xtra long allen wrench. Its worth the 10 bucks to not have to heat inserts and all that jazz.

I have a number of different bows, and the Gold Tip system works pretty quickly once you figure it out.  My 60#+ bows need 5575 arrows, and my 50-60# bows need 3555 arrows, so I keep both in stock, plus a lot of 20 grain and 50 grain weights.

Robert, the ones I get from Black Widow don't have anything to use an allen wrench on.  What am I missing?

The Gold Tip weights work great I have tuned arrows to 4 different longbows(48-60lbs) and they all worked out well. I do like the way you can pick the weight head you want and the overall arrow weight you want . It does run the cost of the arrows up a little if you have to add weight on both ends.
Every one is ignorant its just on different subjects

McDave: I dont know how to put a link for the GT web site for the pic.  If you look at the screw in weights at the top of them you can insert an allen wrench to tighten them down or take them in and out.  Sorry Im puter ignorant  :knothead:

You cant see it in the pic at the site though.
