Just looking for any info.  Looking at a used one.

They are great bows. Maybe the best deal in archery right now.

i have had a couple of them the one i have now i wouldn't trade for anything.for the money they can't be beat and if you ever have trouble with the bow don is a great guy to deal with.

I have two.  Very smooth and very quiet.  Nice bows.

I had one I bought used, sold it to a guy here. Sold it only because I liked my Kodiak TD better & already had it set up for hunting...but the Assenheimer was a great bow, fast, quiet & consistent.

I almost hunted it but decided to sell it before I drilled holes, glued stuff on and otherwise messed it up. Nice bows.

Do they come in different grip styles?

I have owned several. Real nice bows. He has a huge following here in Ohio. If you go to the trad shoots proly 1/3 shooters will be shooting one of his bows.

Don makes a great bow. You can't go wrong with an Assenheimer in my opinion.   I have one he made me in 1991.  This coming season will be my first not using it since I recently got a Toelke Whip I'm anxious to use.

Have two myself, wouldn't part with either of them.  Super smooth shooters, quiet, reasonably quick.  Checked the site a few minutes ago and he has a bunch of new bows for sale.

My opinion only of course - they are one of the best recurves being made. They are extemely smooth drawing and the quietest recurve you are likely to find, very stable and forgiving at the shot. And as mentioned above quick enough.

Let me explain my smooth drawing comment. Assenheimer bows draw with a steady smooth increase in draw force. They don't start with a lot of early draw weight like a Widow (which I think are great bows too - ain't getting rid of mine), etc. I think the early draw weight school of thought is geared toward more speed.

You can't go wrong with one, especially at the price they are offered at.
