Hunting? For his grandson? For the memories?

Maybe he wants to drop down a little in bow weight for next season.

Got his hands on some HGH!!    :jumper:    No seriously maybe its gonna be a handed down to someone.  Or maybe that bow has some serious history behind it.  Joe

Perhaps Mr. St.Charles is looking for a little more speed, kinetic energy, and momentum than his 70# bow is capable of generating.

I'm guessing that bow is very special to him...or has one heck of a story behind it!

Best of luck on the restore, and congrats on the grandbaby!!!

My guess is; You will finish it, he will look it over and tell you what a great job.  Then sign it and hand it back to you.  Then tell you to hand it on down to your Grandkids.

pointy sticks

maybe he's going to autograph it and put it in the St Judes auction?
make em pretty and shoot em straight.

I suspect the 85#'r he's been shooting lately is becoming a bit too much and therefore he thought he'd drop down a weight or two.   :biglaugh:

Hello?  A 10+ pound grandson!  I hope mom is doing OK!  That's Pope & Young!

Do the bow, and I'm sure you will do one of your fantastic jobs.  It may be for a great fund raising project.

Good luck.
Goose
Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.

Bowdoc, he obviously values this bow very much. He also values your skill in restoration!
Congratulations on the new born! We were blessed with our first recently and are having so much fun watching him as he changes and grows. He is 6wks old and still isn't 10lbs!
