I see a lot of questions on how to fly or travel. And keep your 1PC bows safe traveling. I have a thing called a Sport Tube, its made for 2 pair of ski's. But works perfect for 1PC bows and traveling. Adjustable in lenght, easy to carry plus has wheels on one end. It is super tough plastic type material and very ridged when the two pieces are put together. One real plus is the airlines normally do not count it as a piece of luggage. I'm preping it now for the Texas Sweat hunt, although we are traveling by truck this year. It is still super for up to half dz bows or other gear. Last year when I flew down, the TSA agent made the mistake of wanting to open it. I warned him there where things in it the would cut him if he only looked at them. I had two bows, 2dz arrows, 6 knives, broadheads, misc hunting goodies and my sleeping bag in it.  :scared:  He took it apart with easy, however he had to put it all back together after inspection  :knothead:  After his inspection, he looked at me and said. Remind me to NEVER open one of your bags again    for traveling  :D

A couple of weeks ago, Bob Walker and Bobby came down and hunted with us. He had mentioned your case for 1 pc. bows and such that you had at the Sweat last year while we were at Solana.  I told him I thought I could come up with one for him. Well when they got here, my wife and Skyler carried them to Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro AL and Bob got one that looks just like yours for something like $48.00. I've already had to go get us one also and got it for $32.00....Very good idea and a great way to travel with a 1pc.....Don

yep!  I seem to remember suggesting the use of a ski carrier about a year ago.  Glad to see it in use!  I also have a padded "soft" sided bag that I would put PVC pipe inside it if I was taking my LB.  The wheels, straps, pockets, etc. make it ideal, and the tube will give it protection from the travel.  Also the "bow bandits" are likely to pass it up as skis.......  :saywhat:

Great Idea!  I like one piece recurves and this looks like a good way to transport them.  I had looked at possibly using a standard hard guncase but they don't make any that would work well for longer bows.

Brent you need to get your stuff and get you butt on the road to tx!

I have a similar type black telescoping case but it is made for multiple fishing rods.

I sweat over the long bow on a plane and gave it up.   a two piece (or 3) is simply, well... simpler.    Here's a HH two piece with quiver and an extra dozen arrows in a 6" x 36" pvc tube.  I like a one piece, but for traveling, this is just too easy...

This doesn't show it, but I sewed up a webbing carry strap for it, too.

I have another trip coming up in May and have thought about one of the telescoping fishing rod cases, but I'm pretty sure I'll stick with this.
