I shoot a Martin X200. I am thinking of buying a Selway slip on quiver. Has anyone used them before? Is the slide on system secure and rattle free? Thanks for any help.

Yep..they work great on most bows.  Just make sure you get the one designed for a recurve.

styckbow

I have used both the selway and the thunderhorn and I prefer the thunderhorn as it is not bow specific and slips around a lot less Just my opinion
Walk tall as the trees, live strong as the mountains,be gentle as the spring winds, keep the warmth of the summer sun in your heart and the Great Spirit will always be with you.

pointy sticks

I have a selway on my Martin Vision. Had to get the recurve one, it slides on all the way to the handle fades and doesn't move at all.
make em pretty and shoot em straight.

longstick

I used one this past season and it worked great, Im probably going to go to the Thunderhorn for easier removal after hunting this next year if I use my longbow, If I shoot the "widder" Im going to have to get one for it cause of the pre installed inserts it came with

I use Selway "soft-coat" slip-on quivers on all of my bows. Absolutely get the recurve slip-on,if you want a REALLY secure quiver!!!!!

Now HERE is the secret to installing it.....

Fill a coffee mug about half full with hot tap water. Then give a generous squirt of liquid dish detergent into the cup, making "Hot,Soapy water". coat the limbs one at a time with the soapy water and slide the quiver on the limb well past the fade out's. Once your quiver is in place, clean the soapy water off the limbs with a wet paper towl and hang horizontal to "dry" overnight. The next morning your quiver will be practicaly glued on,and wil not shake or vibrate loose.
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

Sawtooth

I have a Selway slip on mounted on my Bob Lee 60" recurve.  I really like it, although it's a little heavier than a GN quiver.  I slipped the quiver all the way down to the handle section, using soapy water like woodchucker.  It really stays put.
