I'm thinking I'd like to come down and join you.

Chad,  :)

Michael, love to have you.

It is really a low key, hi fun event.  We had 4 or 5 states represented last year and even a guy from Germany stopped in.

John, I checked out the 2007 hunt on your website. Were those 2 deer shot during that hunt? Nice looking area.

The deer were both shot during the hunt on private land nearby.  There are plenty of deer on the public land though.  Just ask the 10 or so hanging around camp every night.

I was there last year....
Deer were seen. I had one within 20 yds but, a radio beep happened...such is life...
The comradarie is worth the price of admission. The scenery is great.
All who can should join us. At least one South Carolinian will be joining us.
C'mon October........

I wouldn't mind it but it is impossible to get an NBEF course over here in KY. All the ones in IND. are on days I'm working. Is there an NBEF anymore ?

Billy

Danny - someone else will need to back me up...I don't think you need to take the NBEF course to hunt Indiana...if you were born after ?1984?

That said ; I'd like to attend to the course as well...

You don't have to have the NBEF cert for regular hunting seasons.  Some quota hunts require it though.  This hunt occurs on public land during the regular archery season.

Born after 84 you do need a Hunter Ed certificate (card) to buy a license.

The state-to-state difference of the hunter educ. requirement is amazing. For Colorado the cutoff birthdate is 1949.

Thanks for the info. guys !! I was wanting one because I was told years ago if I left Ky., I had to have one. I have my hunter's ed. I got it to hunt Fort Knox. I would like to get it because, hopefully some day, I'll go to Newfoundland with my uncle Charlie to caribou and moose hunt. To skewer a moose is my ultimate big game goal. Thanks again and I'll check back with 'ya. I think it will be $150.00 for me to bag one of your big bucks across the creek. Take care.

Billy

MY BAD...I shoulda typed 'born before ?1984?' not 'after'...
Thanks for the backup Tim.
