if i use one how much detail will be seen on
a black back?do you think i will get enough detail?otherwise it will be skin eez

My bows I've put western diamondback on have been bows with black glass and the look great over the black glass.I've only done a couple but I'm thinking about trying the skin eez type next time.Real skins require alittle more work to do,it's not hard but you can remove the skin eez alot easier with out harm to the bows finish.

You'll get all the detail....it'll just be darker....they look good on black...

Black glass underneath makes the color pop.  I often dye/stain the flesh side of the skin darker when I put them on clear glass with light woods underneath.
