Greetings all,
A short poll on longbows.
what is the fastest shooting longbow  reflex deflex
hybrid style 58-60" long?  What do you consider the best shooting , most accurate of this type of bow?
Best to ya guys,
Oberon

Matty

My Lighter Shrew; percentage wise out shoot's my pronghorns with the SAME arrow. My Pronghorn is easier controlled.

Bjorn

Morrison with the foam limbs for 58-60. If you go to 62" ACS CX. Ditto for accurate and best shooting.

larry

fastest? Centaur double carbon.

Most accurate?, well that depends upon the shooter and what fits them.

Recurve50LBS

My 62" Turkey Creek smokes my 1916's with 175 Gr up front.
Turkey Creek Longbow
62" 45# @ 28"

Thunder Stick Mag
56" 45# @ 28"

JRY309

Pound for pound my fastest bows are my Black Swan 62" hybrid and my Matlock Predator X2.

flatlander37

For me it was the Thunderstick MOAB I tried today, but I have never shot the Turkey Creek, Centaur, or Morrisons.

BRITTMAN

I havnt shot them all but I have shot alot and the smoothest, fastest and easiest to shoot to me is Hummingbird and the Treadway . As far as accuracy , all fall into that category but some grips will fit you better .

My Black Swan and ACS-CX are pretty close but the Swan gets the nod for more accurate for me.

ISP 5353

I am most accurate with my 60 inch Shrew.

Bjorn

Vermonster, where are the overdue pics of that "bow you (meaning me) have never seen before"?

kawika b

Suggest a look a Bill Howland's Non-Typical at Brackenbury Bows.  I recently took it on a Javelina Hunt and besides being extremely accurate for me, it is very smooth drawing, extremely fast and fits my hand like a glove-it is now tied with the Quest to be my favorite bow, and it is gorgeous!!  If you go to his site,  www.brackenburybows.com  take a look at the section called "bow pictures" and scroll to the "mirror images" to see an absolutely beautiful set of bows that shoot unbelievably great!

killinstuff

I'll put my Jack Harrison HSS up against any bow out there for speed. The double carbon and bamboo limbs are super fast but the bow is 62". No one has more time and money invested in design and reseach then Harrison. As far as being accurate, that's the guy holding the bow but the HSS is easy to shoot.
