Tried one of these out today at the UBM get together and couldn't believe how good it shoots.  I was scrambling trying to sell one of my bows to raise enough money to buy one, but fell short.  I will have one asap.  I believe this bow outshot the widows I tried too.  All that for half the price!  Mark

Loved mine too and wish I hadn't sold it.  I have another on order right now.

I know exactly how you feel. I still get blown away by the performance every time I shoot mine. I've bought a number of recurves over the years that are known for their speed, but as it stands right now, my MOAB is the fastest trad bow I've owned.

AAHHHH.  Get this.  My wife gives me permission to borrow the money from the savings account, and I go back to buy the bow and they're closed for the night.  I may try to go back in the morning before church and see if he's there.

Ouch!  Leave a note on his truck tonite!! LOL

Only reason I sold the one I had was I like to shoot bows I've made. Don't know why, they don't shoot any better or maybe not as good as any other. I'm bettin you'll love it! Good luck catchin up with him.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Which one did you shoot, Mark?  I tried a 60" 47@28 (I think) MOAB that was very smooth and seemed pretty quick.  Have to agree that the MOAB is a dandy bow, and Jim seemed like a real nice fellow too!  That little charcoal stained Mag he had there shot pretty good for a bow that short.

From the interaction I had with the man and the bows, I'd say Thundersticks are about as good a bang for the buck as there is out there!!!

Curtis, I shot the 59@28 60" one, which at my draw length was 54/55 I'm guessing.  It seemed very quick and accurate to me.  Jim was very nice to talk to.  I think I will attempt to get there around 9 in the morning and see if anyone is there.  The charcoal one was very nice also, but a little on the light side for me.

I go to the website and get confused by all the different MOABs.  :help:   What are the advantages of each model? :confused:Which one do you choose?

Thanks

Bentpole,
So the concensus is that the MOAB is better than all the other thundersticks?

Well guys, I went back this morning, and it was there.  I shot it for about ten minutes, and gave it back.  I was practical, and decided to wait and save all the money for next months hog hunt.  It sucks, but I can still order one with the exact woods I want later, all with the permission of my wife!
