I just ordered some 45#-50# spined arrows for my bob lee recurve. My bow is a 60"long 45lbs @ 28". I am thinking of using 125 grain points. These are the prefletched ones from three rivers. Also I ordered some 50#-55# for my 52lb@28" Roy Hall caddo stick. Just wondering about these arrows and how they will actually spine. This is my first time to use these woods I have always shot carbons. any set-up advice would be appreciated  :help:

Are both bows cut to center or past center? if so they may work just fine with your Bob Lee but you will have to shoot them to find out. also TUNE however you do it If you plan on hunting with them, then shoot them with a broadhead attached.

Clowkid

Both bows are cut center. After going back to 3 rivers site,I probably should have went up 5lbs. I will call and see if I can change the order before they are shipped. My arrows will be 29" long.According to their spine chart I should go up. My mistake oh! well.

If you are using non-stretch strings you will need another 5# on top of that.

I bareshaft test and have had to reorder a few times at a different spine. Each bow and shooter will make a difference in what spine works. It does not always work to figure it out then think you have the right spine. Testing is necessary to get it right.
