That is amazing, but carving anything on the back of the bow just seems like weak spots for cracks to propogate.  Lotta tension there.

Wow, now that is a beautiful work of art.  Too bad it wasn't just put on the wall as the break was nearly inevitable.   Really beautiful though!

I have always thought of hand made bows as an art form. This bow takes the art form to a whole new level. If he had used osage or hickory the bow would still be shooting.

And, I think I would have shot the fire out of it BEFORE I painted it...just to make sure it was a well, a shooter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
