I use both Trueflight and Gateway feathers but I esecially like the Gateway camo designs.  Trouble is, I'm having a challenge finding them.  Anyone have a source for Gateway feathers?

Thanks,  Guy

Gander Mtn. but I really don't like them. It seems their quills are too inconsistent. I like Trueflight the best!  Good Luck, DAVE

Thanks for the reference.  I'll drop an email to Git-R-Done to double check, but it looks as if they only have pre-cut feathers.  Unfortunately I only buy full length.  I have Foxfire as one possible source, any others that carry full length Gateway?
Dave, I've used more than a few hundred Gateway feathers and haven't had any problem with the quills being inconsistent.  I find Gateway quills to be thicker than Trueflight but also narrower.  That narrowness makes them chop way better for me.  I use also Trueflight feathers but I much prefer working with Gateway in my choppers.

Thanks,  Guy

I used to sell them in my shop, but I found the quality lacking and inconsistent. After a few orders,I dropped them.   :campfire:

By inconsistent I mean that the quill is different widths from feather to feather and from one end of the feather to the other. It may not really matter but it seems sloppy to me. I don't like a thick quill either because they tear my hand up when shooting. I usually end up sanding the Gateway quills down real thin.

I can't really say anything about chopping as I've not tried that yet,but I appreciate the advice. DAVE

I found a great web site  www.ioarchery.com  they have bags of full length for dirt cheap 15-17 dollars for 50 and if you buy bulk they just get cheaper. They have the camo and just plain colors. They also have precut too.
