Kent Ostrem of Mahaska Custom Bows--an advertiser here--has a few last minute openings for javelina hunting in West Texas starting March 1st.  Four days, loads of javelina, and only $420 per person.  The license is only around $50 and it allows you two javelina.  The ranch is a little over an 1 hours southeast of El Paso.

Does that include air fare form New York???  

You're kidding, right?  Although the cost in air fare is probably pretty resonable from New York to El Paso compared to trying to get there from northern Michigan.

A round trip ticket (departing from NY LGA) is actually only $258.60 (Depart February 28, return March 5th).  This is through Northworst, so you might want to mail your gear to the ranch ahead of time just to make sure it arrives when you do.
