My best friend moved out there awhile ago...and i'm gonna start planning a visit.

Just wanted to see if anyone was nearby, for some stump shooting or a hunt?

I live about 80 miles south around Spartanburg SC, but I guess that kinda depends on your definition of "close" huh.  I hunt public land that is probably an hour south of Asheville, lot's of squirrels and a few rabbits.  I will be moving in June, but if you visit before then and want to come down just hit me up by email.

Drew I live in Hendersonville, which is about 17 miles or so south of Asheville on I-26. We have a club here, Powder Creek Traditonal Archers. Look us up when you get here, we could do some stumpin over in Mills River, there's no shortage there. Rich
