Got a Samick Verna today and am impressed with value for dollar.  It shoots great and is good to look at as well.

I always wanted to try one of those.

Looks like a real nice bow, especially for the money.

Nice lookin' bow, George.

Looks like red elm limb veneers.  Wonder what the cores are ... maple?

I've always taken 2nd looks at that bow, and nearly pulled the trigger on one a few timed - good luck with it!

hey kathryn, i ordered the bow from Lancaster archery supply. the bow was 279.00 marked down to 179.00
they are discontinuing that model, so they're lookin to clear them out!

i dont even know if i can shoot a longbow. but i like the look of the thing so thats a start!i do have a question, the bow says that its 64" long.
does that mean when its strung up, or unstrung.

my bob lee recurve was 60" and that felt good. im just a little nervous that 64" might be to long.

It's amo 64" so it will take a 61" string or there abouts.  The profile is rather compact so I doubt you will have any issues about that 64 inches. It's actually easier to maneuver than a recurve that's 60".  You will like it.  Durned thing really shoots.

Gaff

Check out the Eagle's Flight or Shrew bow quivers - both are sponsors and either works GREAT.
