Thanks.........Felix. Actually, I got both bows for very reasonable prices. The "DeLuxe" came from the big auction price and was won with a "make offer" bid. The pictures that were posted of it left a lot to be desired, but it worked out for me in being able to get it for an unbelievable price.

I am extremely happy with both bows, their performance and beauty are unbelievable for their age.

Howatt Hi-Speed NE Plus Ultra

Beautiful wood on both of these Howatts. They also shoot as good as they look.

Winterhawk, those are a couple of doozies.

Stinger

Here are a couple of mine.  From left to right:  Bear, Little Bear; '59 Herters Olympic Official MKII; '67 Shakespeare Yukon; '69 Shakespeare Necheda; '56 Kodiak Special ... and my '59 Kodiak Special

Hunter 709

Here is my old 1966 Ben Pearson Hunter 709. This was my first bow and I was very green when I bought it. It turned out to be a really nice bow to learn on and well worth the $73 that I paid for it. I realy like the zebrawood riser, I'm a sucker for pretty wood grain. Cool thread.

No Red Wing Hunters or Wing Thunderbirds?

I love it TW! Got the wife mowing, the kid watching and holding the arrows and you're shooting! Perfect! haha

Killdeer

I hope she finds his arrows. Looks like the yard only gets mowed when he's lost enough to make it worthwhile.   :biglaugh:

Here are a couple of old pics of my racks.

Herters International Match Hunter
Herters Perfection
Damon Howatt Triumph
Bear Polar
Damon Howatt Hunter
Vertical bows are a '71 Grizzly and a Jeffery Mity-Mag Classic.

The only ones I have sold are the Perfection and the DH Hunter.

Howatt Hi Speed
Not-so-old Lady Kodiak
Ben Pearson All American
Bear Grizzly double shelf
Ben Pearson Stallion

I dunno what's in the case, and the vertical bow isn't that old. Lotsa bows aren't on the racks.

This one wasn't, but is now, along with another Colt and another Bear Polar.

And the 1969 all-fiberglass Green Bear will never leave.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
