A young mman has been trapping behind my garage lately. Today Myself and a freind (Jay) were going to do a little stump shooting and when we were getting ready here comes Josh to run his traps. We decided to tag along flinging arrows as we went. I was pulling some arrows out of a creekbank when Jay said hey look at this!

He had found a nice skull of a buck. Not sure what killed him the whole skelton was there but no signs of any bone damage. I figure he was shot and not recovered and managed to get this far. any ways he was only about 60 yards behind my garage or so.

I figure hes in the mid 140's anyway. I guess I need to spend some more time in a treestand back there next year a little closer to the house!

Very nice but more towards the 130's I would say. I would cut them off and than take off the brow tines and use them as rattlin' horns! Shawn

IMO - As clean as it is and as much green as I see I would estimate that skull had been laying there a year.

I'd been more than happy finding that!
