My wife and I are finally relocating in the states.  Looking at Amory, Mississippi as a possibility.  Anyone close?
Life is short.  Shoot the good arrows first.

Cool--finally getting ready to retire?

Chad

Magnum in Ms

Every one is ignorant its just on different subjects

Chad, my wife is getting ready to retire.  Just looked at a home near you with acreage but the lady decided not to sell.  On old 25.  I was about ready to call you and tell you we were going to be neighbors when the owner took the house off the market.  Just looked at a house in Amory area that she likes.  So we will see.  Yes, returninmg soon.
Good to hear from you again.

Columbus is not that far.  Glad to hear there is someone close.

Amory is a little over an hour for me.Chad is about 50 min. away.

LBR

Dang!  I need someone to hang out at the shop and help me poke holes in these 3-D targets!  Amory isn't too far away though.....can't get Randy to visit very often (think he heard I'm working on my shop--lol).

I was born in Amory too many year ago, but know nothing about the country as I haven't lived there in (too) many years.  As I recall there are some nice rolling hills in that part of the world.

No Chad! I just can't afford for you to shoot all my arrows under thoes fresh cow chips.

See you soon my friend.

Tbilisi

Chad, you're building a shop?  Don't know for sure about Amory.  Still looking around Fulton and Tupelo.  Anyone know about the hunting in Amory area?  I know the Corp of Eng. land on the waterway.  What is it like to hunt?

Hey John--I had no idea your roots were here.  I was born in the Amory hospital myself (a few years later than you--lol), but lived practically all my life in the Tremont/Fulton area.

Dad-gummit Randy--you weren't supposed to tell that part!  'Course it wasn't my fault--it's that dang bow of yours--groups like a shotgun (had to be the bow--no way it could be my fault I'd miss).  I did find your arrow, but either the horse or mule had stepped on it--might work for a shorter draw length.

Pete, there's some good hunting on Corps land near Amory, including an archery-only section, but like most public spots it can get crowded at certain times of the year unless you like to go deep, or have a boat to get to some of the less acessable spots.

Let me know how it goes!

We will know something in a few days about the area.  Still haven't given up on Fulton.

Noticed I forgot to say I have a shop out by the house now, and already adding on--mostly for storage and such.

If there's anything I can check on for you around here, just let me know.
