Hi - I'm doing research to find a good entry level recurve and was wondering if anyone had a thought on the Ragim bows made in Italy.

I don't have a ton of money for a bow so I'm trying to keep my purchase between 100 and 150.

Thx.

Get yourself a Quinn. They are in your price range, made in Texas by good people and are real good shooting bows made regardless of price range.

I have a bow made by Ragim. It is there Impala 55# at 28 Inches.  It shoots well but the edges of the limbs are a little ruff and my first set of limbs had the fiberglass start to come up.  AIM traded them out for a new set and no problems since.  I would by something made in the states or check the Tradgang classifieds for a high quality used bow.

I own a Ragim Takedown Recurve and a Ragim Longbow and a Quinn's Takedown Recurve. I like all 3. The grips on the Ragim's fit me like a glove. I never had any problems with my Ragim's.

I haven't any knowledge about the Ragim, but I have shot the PSE bows a lot and like the Impala. Its actually a pretty sweet shooting bow and the price is right for sure.
