I was just trying to get some incite on what happens to a bows man when he find a woman who is interested in the same things that he is? If you have any thoughts please let me know.

Your archery tackle budget almost doubles for a time, but women tend to settle on what they like and stick with it.  Us guys can't seem to stop looking at that next purchase.  If you want your wife to get a deer, don't drop her off and then walk farther to your spot, you will simply scare away her deer.  Next year i need to provide my wife a better set up.  Our new area doesn't have the juniper  cover she likes to work with.  We added wilderness canoeing to our outdoor time, as well.

Run,run away.   :scared:   ..Just kidding. You would have the best hunting partner you could have.      :campfire:

Laddy...I have more bows than pegs, and just bought another.

Greywolf63, do dishes and laundry, and you will be able to spend more time with her at the range and in the woods. And maybe she won't scare away your deer when she drops you off at your hunting spot.

"Wildlife" can take on a whole new meaning.  Seriously, it will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams.  I hope you find that!

I can't say about bowhunting, but with flyfishing you can double your expenses.

You get a ton more fun and a much better experience having someone you care about as much as a spouse sharing something you're very passionate about, especially when they're just as passionate as you about it.

Makes vacations MUCH easier to arrange,as in,not worrying about, say going to the beach just to please her while you'd honestly rather be somewhere else. Most of our vacation time is now spent either in the Smoky Mountains or Montana............how can you beat that!?!?!

A woman that likes what you like, you can't get any luckyer than that. God gave me a women that likes what I like and it makes my life alot easyer. Whats not to love about a women who likes what you like unless she is a better shot than you. If you find a woman that likes what you like, you better grab her and hang on. I did.

All aspects of your life will get better. My wife, Laura, is so enthralled by archery and bowhunting that she doesn't wait for or need me to be around in order to get out into the woods or to the practice range. She truly loves the outdoors to begin with and the bowhunting/archery really make her feel like a participant rather than a spectator.

My wife doesnt hunt but she will fight you for a fishing spot and I can tell you it is a wonderful experience to have her along to share the trip. I love watching her catch a fish it just lights up her whole face. I have tried the hunting thing but she just doesnt care for it. Lots of luck.

Thank you too all you guys who have responded to my post. I am a woman who is recently in a relationship with an avid bow man he is a long time member of this site and he is a very spiritual man when it comes to the ways of bow and arrow. I feel that he is native in spirit and that helps me because I'm a Native American woman who loves him very much and wants him to be happy. Thanks again.

a woman who loves bowhunting? that is a rare animal indeed.

Killdeer, I don't think I could afford to be married to you.  My Robertson would not have the loving home it now has if my wife wasn't happy with just four bows.
