High Sierra that is.....about a month ago I received a new to me Fox High Sierra but due to some health issues was unable to shoot it right away. Well, I've been shooting it for about 3 weeks now and all I can say is WOW!!   Not only does is the grip the best I've ever felt in a 3 piece recurve but it draws extremely smooth and stacks the arrows where I point them. Initially I was concerned because at 48#@28" with my 29+ inch draw it was at the upper level of my comfort zone and thought I was going to need some lighter limbs but this bow is soooo smooth that I don't think it I'll need them.  I don't know what took me so long to try a Fox, but I've definitely been bitten.

Ron builds some sweet bows, I love the longbows.  The Fox grip is very very similar to both the Stalker and Wes Wallace standard grip, they melt into your hand.

Beautiful bow!
Stunning riser indeed!

I have lusted after the fox lineup since 2004.  Nearly every year at the Kalamazoo Expo I looked 'em over but the longbows seemed to dominate my focus.  Still do and I can't complain...  :p

Those are really nice bows. Congrats on a sharp bow.

Great bow, built by a great guy.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

I have had my High Seirra for 10 years and still love it.  Had a lighter set of limbs built for it so I can keep shooting it when age startd taking its toll.

How long is it? Are you going to Denton Hill in a couple weeks?
