it's a damp morning, not to cold..should be good scent tracking for the dog. I've got a buddy that's never been rabbit hunting, but has access to some good spots, he's not a bow hunter, he said all he has is a 12ga, I told him that was way to big, and I'd loan him a 410, that ought to even the field some  :D  he looked at me like I had two heads when I told him I'd be carrying my bow...who knows, maybe I'll score a couple and he'll catch the bug...be back later.

well, I didn't impress anyone with my shooting abilities    Being as how it was my buddy's first time, I was gracious enough to stomp all wild rose patches...I did get one shot, about 25 yrs running hard, quatering away, and I did just like I always seem to do when shooting at running rabbits....shot a foot behind him !  :archer:

Joe and i went out for awhile, we saw four i had one shot at a runner. Like you i shot behind it, i found a shed antler so i didn't have to come home empty handed.
