Anyone know the correct aluminum shaft size to foot a Black Eagle .300 Rampage. It's a .264 OD.

1914 is .2689 ID
1913 is .2709 ID
Not sure how much room is needed for glue?

1916 may work,  but my first gut reaction was a 2016.

2016 is .2805 ID

I've built at least 3 dozen Rampage 300s footed with 2016s. That's the size you want.

I'm using Easton HIT inserts in mine. I ordered some 30.06 insert weld from three rivers. Been using hot melt. Length and insert weight has been determined so I'm going to glue the next batch in permanently.
