Just wanted to say thank you to all the moderators here for doing such an outstanding job.
On the 21st of this month I had come across a thread that seemed to have been started by a member to "work" the site. I did not have time then to shoot a heads up  message to one of the Moderators as I was on my way out to start my holiday travels.
Today(12/27)  I finally got back to my computer to find that the Mods are on top of things and shut down that thread. Thanks again Mods  for keeping our site about sharing info and not full of arguments started to belittle another opinion for the purpose of financial gain.
That was just one example of the great job you guys are doing and I know that others here are just a appreciative of your efforts.
I know it's a bit late but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Thanks again, Vaughn

Another fine year of hard work put in by the mods. Thanks to the new faces (or maybe just avatars) Iron Bull & Vermonster and all the veterans. You guys make the idea keep rolling.

Yup-----you guys are an outstanding group. I actually use some of your policies while moderating a different site and it works very well.

Happy holiday season to all you guys. And a special wish to the Man-----Terry

Turkeyslayer,
"working the site" "work the site" or "working the board" refers to when a non sponsor member uses the site to promote their own product or services.

Thanks for the comments guys.

It got locked after it ran NINE pages and we immediately got accused of being on a 'witch hunt', among other things, by the topic starter that had THIRTY NINE posts on the thread himself....so I removed the whole thread .

I started a thread a week or so ago, looking for help picking a name for a part time bizness...that thread got pulled...I was, IN NO WAY, trying to "work" anybody! Posted it one day, checked back in the next, and it was gone...I now understand why! An explanation would have been nice, at the time of notification, but it's all good....Love this site, no worries here!!! If the part time biz takes off, I'll become a sponsor!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!

One thing you need to do is be sure the e-mail you list is current. Many times e-mails go out and then the poster says they didn't hear anything and we find out later they have a new e-mail address.
