I've wanted to paint a bow or set of limbs for a long time. Finally decided to give it try on the black max limbs I have for my Morrison ilf. I wanted to mimic some of the patterns that you used to see on some of the wheel bows in the late 80s early 90s. I always thought the leaf silhouette patterns on those old bows were cool. Probly the nostalgia of seeing them growing up in the 90s. I made some leaf stencils in the art studio at school. One of the perks of being an Art teacher. I think it came out pretty good.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Very nice. (a little Scotch Brite will help dull the sheen in a couple of years.)

Been thinking about painting my Samick Sage limbs some camo pattern.  Im partial to the mesh pattern camo, like you get by using a mesh laundry bag.  Kinda looks like scales.  Heres an example, sorry ciuldnt find a bow with this pattern, but its just for an idea:
